Molds for soap making
The Milkyway Soap Molds are heavy plastic Soap making molds to make bars of soap and molded bath fizzies. This is the way to get those beautiful designs on your soaps. The individual soap bar molds are a sheet of three or four or more molds depending on the size of the bar it makes. Click on the mold name to see more information about that particular soap making mold. Each mold has its number of ounces the mold makes and the dimensions of the bar.
Some of the mold are tray molds. Tray molds usually hold about two pounds of soap. Pour the soap into the tray mold. Pop it out when it is hard and you will have score marks right on the slap of soap so you can cut out the bars easily and evenly.
The Spinning Leaf molds are 3D molds. They are two pieces which hold together and have a pouring hole at the top. This is the way you get a nice bar of soap that is molding on both sides, and not always flat on the back. These molds make only one bar at a time. We include the necessary large rubber bands for free with each mold purchased.
If your recipe makes more than the amount the soap mold holds, just pour your soap into several molds. For instance, if you are making a seven pound batch of soap, pour it into 3 tray molds and have a couple of individual molds available for the last pound of soap.
Use these molds for making soaps from scratch, glycerin melt and pour, bath bombs (fizzies), and solid lotion bars.
