Soap Noodles Soaps

Soap Noodles Shredded Soaps are the way to go if you want to make homemade, natural soaps, but do not want to use lye (sodium hydroxide). This line of soaps we make with care here at Soap Crafters using the finest in pure vegetable oils. Our soaps are pure soap, there is nothing else added, they are 100% saponified oils. We do all the lye handling for you! The soap is perfectly safe to use, just as it is, when you first receive it.

To use Soap Noodles shredded soaps, you melt in your oven with milk or other liquid. After an hour or two the soap is like running mashed potatoes. Remove the soapbase from the oven, stir in Soap Crafters fragrance, add some of our oil based powders or liquid colorants and then pour in to the soap making molds. Put the mold in the freezer for a few hours then pop out the soaps. Set the soaps out on a rack to dry and cure. Cure time is usually about six weeks. After the curing time the soaps are ready to package or use. It is safe to use the soap bars sooner, they are usually to wet to use. A well cured bar of soap lasts a long time in the bath.

When first learning to make soap, many people start with the clear glycerin melt and pour soap, then graduate to working with the soap Noodles shredded soaps. After that they begin to make soap using oils and lye. Although, we have many, many professional soap makers who use only our Shredded Soaps for convenience and consistent quality in their soap products.

For the summer months, this product will be made to order. When you order it, please allow 2-3 days additional time so that we can make it fresh for you.
