4 Tablespoons of Soap Crafters Conditioning Pellets
2 Tablespoon Thickener
24 oz. water

16 oz of Soap Crafters Aloe Liquid
1/2 tsp. Soap Crafters Fragrance
Soap Crafters Liquid Colorant

Dissolve conditioner pellets in 12 oz 140F degree water. Stir to dissolve. You might have to use a stick blender.

After it has fully dissolved, heat 12 oz of water & the 16 oz of Aloe Liquid together to 140F degrees. While your water is heating, mix the dissolved conditioner pellets with a stick blender. (your mixture will get very white and look almost like cream.)

When your water reaches the right temp, using a stick blender to mix with, slowly add the thickener to the water while mixing with the blender. You want to do this like you're making gravy, add it slowly so you don't get lumps. Usually by the time you are done adding the thickener, the mixture is already quite thick. If it's not, stir by hand until it gets thick.

Add scent and color (if desired) to the dissolved conditioner. Mix well.

Then use a stick blender to blend the conditioner mixture, into the thickener/water mixture.
*** You can scent and color your whole batch or wait and individually scent smaller batches. However, the color works best if added earlier in the process as mentioned above.

You can substitute water for the Soap Crafters Aloe Liquid, but the aloe liquid has a commercial antimicrobial in it already. There is enough of this antimicrobial to protect your hair conditoner from bacteria and/or mold growth. If you substitute water for the aloe you will not have that protection.
