How to Make Lip Balm from scratch and Recipe
Making lip balms is so easy! Your own homemade lip balms are made just the way you want them. Your own homemade lip balms are so much better than the ones you can purchase in the store because you control the quality of ingredients which go into them. You can use the best in natural oils and natural bee's wax. Plus you can flavor them with any lip balm flavor you especially enjoy.
So let's make some homemade lip balms!
What you'll need:
2 tsp Beeswax Pellets
8 tsp Natural Almond Oil
1/2 teaspoon Mint Flavoring Oil
9 Lip Balm Tubes and caps
1 Pipette
1 large rubber band

The first thing you need to do is to get together all your ingredients in your recipe. For lip balms you don't need to weigh the ingredients, volume measurements are just fine. |
| Put the bee's wax pellets and solid oils into the pot to melt. In this case we're using just liquid oils so put only the bee's wax pellets in the pot. Heat on low until melted. It only take a couple of minutes. |

| Remove the melted bee's wax from the heat. |
Pour in your liquid oils. For this recipe you pour in your Natural Almond Oil. |

Measure out your favorite Soap Crafters Lip Balm Flavoring oil and put it into your mixture. Stir. |

Grab about five lip balm tubes in your hand and wrap a rubber band around them. This helps them stay upright while you're filling them. Set them upright on the counter. Stick your pipette into the mixture and suck up the liquid then squirt it into your tubes. After you get all your lip balm tubes filled, top them off with just a little more so they have a rounded top. |

| They set up rather quickly so work fast! | Put on caps and you're done! |
