Exfoliating Goat's Milk Soap
I didn't see any other recipes for the Goat's milk Soap Noodles, so I thought I'd post one of mine that was successful.
1 lb Goats Milk Soap Noodles
1/3 c whole milk
1/3 c coconut milk (found in the Asian section of your supermarket--the kind for curries, not cocktails)
1 heaping Tbsp of Sweet Almond Butter
1 Tbsp of almond oil
1/3 Cup of Almond Meal or Apricot Meal
1 Tbsp Fragrance Oil
Place noodles in a crock pot on LOW or in a 200 degree oven in a glass or ceramic baking dish with a lid. (I used a crock pot)
Melt Almond Butter and Almond Oil.
Add melted butter & oil into 2/3 cup milk.
Pour the milk mixture over the noodles and stir well but carefully.
Cover the dish or crock pot and check noodles after 1 hr. After exactly 1 hour, I added another 1/2 cup of whole milk. Then I stirred, put the lid back on, and Cooked another 15 minutes.
Then I stirred one last time and let cook another 10 minutes.
When the soap looks to be about the consistency of runny mashed potatoes, add the meal and your fragrance. Stir thoroughly, but gently.
I prepped my molds with spray oil, and smeared it around with my finger. (I used a loaf mold).
Press mixture firmly into your mold. I put it into the freezer for 1 hour 15 minutes, and they popped out easily.
