How to Make Red, White & Blue Bath Salts

These layered bath salts look like you spent lots of time on them, but are so simple to make. They look even more attractive in a flag or white sprinkles cello bag.

The stuff you’ll need:

3 lbs Sea Salt
Soap Making Liquid Colorants: Red, Sapphire Blue
Soap making Fragrance Oil or Essential Oils
wax paper
glass mason jars and lids or jars

Take 1 pound of the salt, put it in a large bowl and put about 10 drops of the red color in. Stir well until fully incorporated. Add 5 more drops and stir well. If you feel it still needs more color add 5 more drops. Add your fragrance.

Take another pound and do the same thing with the blue color and your fragrance. Pour the last pound in a bowl and add your fragrance to it.

Spread each color of salt out on a separate sheet of wax paper and let it dry completely. Layer in jars or cello bags.
