Goat's Milk Body Butter

.33oz liquid glycerin
1 oz stearic acid
1.6 oz emulsifying wax
0.8 oz mango butter
1 oz avocado oil
0.7 oz jojoba oil
1 oz apricot kernel oil
1 oz soy oil
11 oz Soap Crafters aloe liquid
8 oz water
8.8 oz pasteurized goat's milk
1 tsp vitamin e
½ tsp fragrance (if desired)
Other needed items:
scale
8 4-oz salve jars
Stick Blender
Heat the Goat's Milk to 160 degrees and leave it that temperature for 1 minute. Then remove from heat and allow it to start to cool.
Put the first 8 ingredients in a pot and heat to 120.
Heat SoapCrafters Aloe Liquid with the water to 120. Do not allow it to go over 130 degrees, hotter than 130 will kill off the antimicrobial in the Aloe Liquid.
When the first eight ingredients have been heated and the goat's milk has cooled down to about 120, mix the aloe & water in with the goat's milk. Now you're ready to mix!
Put the warm goat's milk and aloe into the melted oils mixture and mix with a stick blender or hand mixer for about 2 minutes. Let mixture sit for about 10 minutes then stick blend it for about 2 minutes. Let the mixture sit for 1 hour then blend for 1 minute. About this time it should be starting to get thick and creamy. Let it sit for another five minutes and then blend in the vitamin e, and fragrance.
Allow it to sit overnight to cool completely. Mix again then spoon into jars.
A preservative is not necessary if you use Soap Crafters' Aloe Liquid because our Aloe Liquid has all the antimicrobial that is needed in the recipe.
