How to use Goat's Milk Melt and Pour Soap Base: Glycerin Melt and Pour soapbase is the really easy way to start making soaps. When you receive it the soap is already soap! You melt the soap in your microwave or stove top. Add Soap Crafters liquid colorant and Soap Crafters soap making fragrances to it. Pour the melted soapbase into the mold. After about an hour (less if you put it in the freezer) the soap turns solid and you pop it out of the soap making mold. Your bar of soap is ready to use right away or package up for resale.
Goat's Milk Melt and Pour soap base: Softens skin and has a delicate creamy lather. Our Goat's Milk soap is made with real liquid goat's milk as found in your neighborhood grocery store. It is an off-white color. The Goat's Milk is blended with our ever popular soap base.
Our Glycerin Melt and Pour soap base is very gentle on the skin, which is only one of the reasons it is so popular with our customers. It also lathers very well, giving lots of suds. Professional soap makers like it because it is quite clear (in the clear melt and pour version) and very easy to work with when making soap. It turns completely liquid when you melt it and it doesn't turn hard immediately so you have the time necessary to work with it before pouring it into the soap making molds. It is a little bit flexible when hard so you can roll it, slice it and make little shape cut outs which you can embed inside other bars of soap. Some people even add fruit slices, herbs, toys and other goodies to the soap bars.
