Mint Lip Balm Flavoring Oil
A strong, delightful, powerful, icy mint flavoring oil to make lip balms and flavored massage oil. Mint is great anytime of year but most popular in the winter and in the summer. Usage can be up to 5% with this flavoring oil.
Home made lip balms are much richer and creamier than lip balms purchased at the store. If you make them yourself, then you can control what goes into them. See our natural lip balm recipes in our how to section of our recipe forums. http://www.soapcrafters.com/forum/42
Professional flavoring oils are used in products which might be eaten, such as lip balms, lip pots, lip gloss, ointments used around the mouth, candies, foods and some massage oils. They are easy supplies to work with and can add much fun to an otherwise uninteresting item.
Use up to 5% of this particular Soap Crafters Mint flavor oil for your recipes. If your recipe contains 20 teaspoonfuls of ingredients, then use 1 teaspoon of flavoring oil. Overdosing your recipe with flavor oil does not make it more flavorful, it may cause it to taste bitter. So be careful to do the math properly for your recipe to get the most out of our flavors.
All of our flavors DO NOT contain any sweetener nor carrier oils, they are pure, professional flavoring oils. We do not 'water down' our products, you're getting 100% of the real thing at Soap Crafters.

Natural Cocoa Butter for soap and lotion making
Natural Cocoa Butter is used in lotions, lip balms, creams, and soap making. It is a brownish tan color and it is a very hard solid oil. It is brittle in its texture in normal room temperature. Because of cocoa butter's high melting point, many recipes call for cocoa butter in order to harden up the recipe, whether it be a lip balm, solid lotion or a soap. Adding cocoa butter to a recipe is a natural way to stiffen up a lip balm or harden up a soap from scratch.
The main reason to add cocoa butter to a recipe is to get its rich qualities as an oil. Some people like to use cocoa butter as a tanning oil. You can rub it directly on the skin.
Natural Shea Butter Lotion
Natural Shea butter is imported from Africa and is an incredible oil for the skin. Natural Shea Butter lotion is all the rage because it makes you feel so good. We have developed our own rich, lotion using 34% Natural Shea Butter in our oils. It goes on smooth and doesn't leave you greasy. To make it even better, it is unscented, uncolored and its ph is 5.5 to match the acid mantle of your skin. By being ph balanced to your skin, it allows your skin's protective layer to do its job in fighting the day's invaders instead of first trying to fight off your lotion.
Our Natural Shea Butter Lotion is rich in natural oils and there is no fragrance oil or colorant added to it. You can add your own scenting and colorant or just use it as it is. Our creams and lotions have a natural clean smell just on their own.

Goats Milk Melt & Pour Soap Base Supplies

Goat's Milk soap is very popular lately because it is one of the finer melt and pour soaps on the market. SoapCrafters soap making supplies sells the finest in goat's milk soap base.
How to use Goat's Milk Melt and Pour Soap Base: Glycerin Melt and Pour soapbase is the really easy way to start making soaps. When you receive it the soap is already soap! You melt the soap in your microwave or stove top. Add Soap Crafters liquid colorant and Soap Crafters soap making fragrances to it. Pour the melted soapbase into the mold. After about an hour (less if you put it in the freezer) the soap turns solid and you pop it out of the soap making mold. Your bar of soap is ready to use right away or package up for resale.
Goat's Milk Melt and Pour soap base: Softens skin and has a delicate creamy lather. Our Goat's Milk soap is made with real liquid goat's milk as found in your neighborhood grocery store. It is a very white color. The Goat's Milk is blended with our ever popular soap base.
Our Glycerin Melt and Pour soap base is very gentle on the skin, which is only one of the reasons it is so popular with our customers. It also lathers very well, giving lots of suds. Professional soap makers like it because it is quite clear (in the clear melt and pour version) and very easy to work with when making soap. It turns completely liquid when you melt it and it doesn't turn hard immediately so you have the time necessary to work with it before pouring it into the soap making molds. It is a little bit flexible when hard so you can roll it, slice it and make little shape cut outs which you can embed inside other bars of soap. Some people even add fruit slices, herbs, toys and other goodies to the soap bars.
